Profile Overview

TTPP were appointed to provide a range of professional services on this station redevelopment project, with the core aims of improving access, circulation and enhancing the overall passenger experience.

The Booking Hall area was extended by relocating the existing tenancy and repositioning the Ticket Office, while maintaining operations and minimalising disruption in the live statio environment.

To create a more inclusive environment, additional DDA compliant access, with new automatic doors, was created from the entrance and onto the platforms to reduce congestion. A new Accessible Waiting Room was created from one of the areas previously part of the Station Masters House, with access created directly onto the platform.

The public toilets were reconfigured to maximize limited available space and fully refurbished. The Station Masters House was also fully renovated to provide office accommodation, with particular attention to restoring Heritage details and joinery within this listed building.
