Profile Overview
TTPP were engaged to provide professional services on a major upgrade of Brighton Station. The objectives of the scheme were to maximise the commercial income from station tenancies, provide better customer information systems and reduce congestion across the station whilst providing enhanced passenger facilities. The scheme was made more challenging due to the station being Listed.
The works included demolition of central concourse building, doubling the size of the existing gateline, re-location of station control room, re-location of BT Police off site to create better retail opportunities, creation of new travel centre and installation of concourse based ticket vending machines and cash points.
