Our client, The Go Ahead Group engaged TTPP to Project Manage the delivery of a new Bus servicing Garage to support a number of routes operating in the Bournemouth area.
The requirements focused heavily on providing a high quality environment to ensure optimum availability of the fleet by reducing down time whilst vehicles were off road for servicing and maintenance.
The garage has five bays, two of which are equipped with hydraulic jacking for easy inspection and one provides a full statutory vehicle testing facility. Offices, Meeting Rooms and Staff welfare accommodation are provided at a first floor level.
External to the main Depot building, a new fuel point and vehicle washing machine were also included in the final scheme.
