Project Overview

The Trevor Patrick Partnership was commissioned by Southern.

The scope of works included the following;

  • Reduce congestion to station concourse by carrying out the following changes:
    • Increase booking hall area by relocating ticket office into adjacent retail unit and removing redundant storage area in booking hall.
    • Provide additional Ticket Vending Machines (TVM).
  • Improve ticketing arrangements and staff facilities by carrying out the following changes:
    • Provide height adjustable accessible ticket windows
    • Reconfigure ticket office to provide a new staff accommodation including multi user toilet facility
  • Install automatic ticket gates to booking hall.
  • Provide enhanced retail facilities to booking hall.
  • Provide new enhanced customer information system.
  • Provide new integrated digital cctv.
