Project Overview
The Trevor Patrick Partnership was commissioned by Southern.
The scope of works included the following;
- Reduce congestion to station concourse by carrying out the following changes:
- Increase booking hall area by relocating ticket office into adjacent retail unit and removing redundant storage area in booking hall.
- Provide additional Ticket Vending Machines (TVM).
- Improve ticketing arrangements and staff facilities by carrying out the following changes:
- Provide height adjustable accessible ticket windows
- Reconfigure ticket office to provide a new staff accommodation including multi user toilet facility
- Install automatic ticket gates to booking hall.
- Provide enhanced retail facilities to booking hall.
- Provide new enhanced customer information system.
- Provide new integrated digital cctv.
