DDA Schemes

TTPP Provide the Full Range of DDA Services to our Clients including:

  • DDA Surveys and Accessibility Audits
  • DDA Consultancy
  • Design, Procurement and Project Management of DDA Works from inception to completion of projects

We undertake surveys and audits from single buildings to complete local authority or national retail chain property portfolios.

We provide professional advice that will enable clients to meet duties under the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) now the Equality Act (2010).

With a team of experienced surveyors we can audit large property portfolios (e.g. Train Operating Franchises), within a short time period.

Our previous experience in providing DDA / Accessibility related services to Train Operating Companies over a number of year’s results in us being fully conversant with the following:

 

  • The Accessible Train and Station Design for Disabled People : A Code of Practice
  • The manufacturers and suppliers of Accessible products.
  • The relevant guidelines and requirements with regard to the positioning and installation of accessible products.
  • The Network Rail Line Standards and Group Standards for Station Design.
  • The internal and external reporting systems of the Landlord (Network Rail) and necessary approvals.

A number of TTPP’s Accessibility schemes were funded by the DfT under Access for All or other initiatives such as Small Schemes Funding.
