TTPP have been engaged by both public and private Clients to provide ‘one stop shop’ surveying and design services in the delivery of numerous car park extensions and new build schemes. In the course of undertaking these schemes we have become fully conversant with the particular requirements of Car Park schemes including;
- Landlord and third party (adjoining Landowners, Local Authorities etc.) approvals and liaison.
- Drainage issues as governed by the Building Regulations, the local water authority and the Environment Agency and the results of percolation and associated soil testing.
- Contaminated land issues including possible remediation where required.
- Hard and soft landscaping design based on ground conditions (CBR Tests etc.) and Employer’s requirements (e.g. vehicle loadings etc.) and Guidelines.
- Buried services including ground penetrating radar scans and subsequent investigations.
- Security provisions including CCTV and lighting.
- DDA / Accessibility provisions.
- Optimum parking layouts and orientation.
